All Conference Teams Announced

Fall sports teams were well represented when this year's all-conference teams were announced. Between the field hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball teams, eighteen athletes were recognized by coaches as some of the best of the conference. Here are this year's selections:

Field Hockey-Sr. Maya Brooks (1st team all-conference, Blue-Gold All-Star), Sr. Aliana Fontanez (2nd), So. Abril Catalan-Olais (2nd), Sr. Rebecca Manthorpe (3rd), Jr. Katelyn Mullins (3rd), and Sr. Karelin Torres (3rd).

Football-Sr. Rashee Scott (2nd team all-conference), Sr. Duncan Stevens (3rd), Sr. Chase Lawhorne (3rd), Sr. Michael Dawson (3rd), and Sr. Jerome Blakeney (3rd).

Soccer-Jr. Ronal Galeano (1st team all-conference, 3rd team all-state), So. Lenford Kirlew (2nd team all-conference), and Fr. Jason Granados (3rd).

Volleyball-Sr. Sarah Gotthold (1st team all-conference, Blue-Gold All-Star), Sr. Arlene Opio (2nd, Blue-Gold All-Star), Jr. Elianneth Rosado-Alvarez (2nd), and Sr. Kleidy Rosales (3rd, Blue-Gold All-Star).

In addition, some of the athletes above plus more were recognized for their academic achievements during the fall sports season. The all-academic team includes student-athletes who earned a varsity letter and attained a 3.2 unweighted GPA during the first marking period. That group includes:

Cheeleaders Derricka Benson, Christina Holness, Jemimah Mwaba, and Shakeela Slade;

Cross-Country runners Nataya Price and Joelle Wilkins;

Football players Joey Bufano and Justus Smith;

Soccer players Giovani Catalan and Eder Santos-Morales;

Field Hockey players & managers Erica Campuzano, Lizeth Cruzalta-Ayala, Alexis Everett, Anabelle Fontanez, Quentin Hayes, Manthorpe, Mullins, Nayely Rojas, and Torres;

Volleyball players & managers Xandria Deleon, Gotthold, Emily JOnes, Opio, Erica Phillips, Rebecca Richardson, Rosales, Taylor Wright, Kyle Banaag, Ryan Conners, Kai Louie, and Phillip Penn.
