Daily Announcements 2023-2024
Reminder: Dress Code is in effect and the only sweatpants permitted are HB sweatpants. Shoes must have a closed back, no slipper styles or flip-flops are permitted. Cell Phones must be off and away, either in a student's locker or in their backpack while in school. Students are reminded that any notes must be brought to the office first thing in the morning.
Car Line Dismissal: Students are reminded that they should only walk as far as the sidewalk takes them. No student should walk past the trash/recycling receptacles located near the loading dock to enter a parent's car.
All students have received their ID badges and are required to wear them at all times.
Strings: Strings will meet this morning, Tues., March 26, in the Auditorium.
Softball: Warriors Softball had a big 12-3 win yesterday against Conrad. Addy pitched a great game for the team with 6 strikeouts and a strong defense behind her! The Warriors' bats were on fire with big hits from Jay, Olivia, Hayden, Tess and Addy. Sam went 2 for 3 with a triple, Eliza went 3 for 4 with a triple and Bailey went 3 for 4 for 2 RBI's. Great job team!
Volleyball: The boys volleyball team was victorious yesterday with a wire to wire win over the Conrad Redwolves. Awesome serving from Jacob, Anthony and Brad! Great defense and blocks from Luke and Evan! Our next game is Wed., March 27 at Skyline.
Baseball: The HB team pounded out 17 hits, including 5 from Liam A. and 4 from Paul K., leading the Warriors past Conrad 18-10. Michael C. got the win.
Joe Corbi Fund Raiser: Students are reminded that all orders must be picked up after school today, Wed., March 27 in the Auditorium between 3:30pm and 4:00pm. We are unable to store any items beyond this time due to the need for refrigeration and space limitations. Thank you for your assistance.
7th grade Math League: Our 7th grade team finished job and brought home the Gold! Sophia, Eddie, Ethan, Kedar and Aison took 1st Place at the State Math League Competition yesterday in Dover. Our team scored 25 points and Sophia was one of only 8 students to score 6 points.
8th grade Math League: Congratulations to the 8th grade team on their 4th place finish last night at the State Math League Competition! Out of the 13 teams statewide, our team led by Joan, Darren and Allen, crushed the competition. Emily and Asher also provided strong work to help us beat our archrivals at the Independence School. Well done Warriors, Mr. T. is very proud of you! Remember, its Supposed to be Hard!
Any students planning on attending the field trip to Delaware Technical and Community College with Mr. Wilson must turn in their permission slips by Thurs., March 28.
Boys Lacrosse: Attention: our fundraiser has 75 more units to see in order to meet our goal! Please share the ordering link on social media and with friends and family. The link can be found in the Friday news. The team kicks off the season this week at home on Wednesday against BSS! Any and all help with our team fundraiser is greatly appreciated!
