Heritage Elementary is very excited to get their garden started thanks to a grant written by Lori Belfiore.  Each grade level will have a different role in maintaining the garden.  Once the garden is harvested, the cafeteria will prepare the food and serve it at lunch.  We are partnered with Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids.  They will be coming in to teach the children their roles and responsibilities in how to grow a successful garden.
