Operation Warm Visits Highlands

On February 13th Operation Warm came to Highlands Elementary School to bring some love just in time for Valentine’s Day. Operation Warm believes that every child, regardless of circumstance, deserves to feel the warmth, confidence, and hope that comes from the gift of something new, made just for them.

Operation Warm is #morethanacoat. Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence and hope to children in need through the gift of brand new winter coats. We believe a brand new coat is more than a coat. Through serving millions of children in need across North America, we have seen that a brand new coat offers a child physical and emotional warmth, confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future.

Operation Warm Guiding Principles

WARMTH - Operation Warm creates brand new, high-quality coats for children in need, offering a child both physical and emotional warmth.
CONFIDENCE - The gift of a brand new coat empowers children by sparking self-confidence in a way that second-hand clothing cannot.
HOPE - The gift of a brand new coat offers hope to both children and their parents, reminding them there are those in their community that care about their well-being and future.

Operation Warm manufactures their own coats to their strictest standards – ensuring that kids love the way they look and feel in their brand new coats, and keeping them warm and protected throughout the year.

We are thankful for our DuPont volunteers and the donation of over 400 coats to our scholars!
