Ms. Barbro is Highlands 2023 Teacher of the Year! Ms. Barbro is the library media specialist here at Highlands. She attended the University of Delaware from which she received her bachelor's degree, master's degree, and her school library media specialist certification. Ms. Barbro also holds a certification in educational technology from Rowan University. Ms. Barbro works with students in grades k-5 each week. She also coordinates several other projects and programs around our school building including: pet therapy visits, weekly yoga/mindfulness classes, book vending machine selections for student of the month, My Very Own Library, and filming morning announcements. You can often see Ms. Barbro's French Bulldog, Penny Lane, bringing joy to staff and students in the building during her weekly pet therapy visits.
