Good morning and welcome back.  I hope everyone had a great spring break.  It was definitely a little hard for the teachers and me to get up early today.

As you know, Smarter Balanced testing begins next week and I want to tell everyone about the Smarter Challenge we have created for each grade during the 2 weeks of testing.

The winners will receive a full week of dress down to take place May 20th – May 24th.

Here is how it works.  Each teacher, with at testing classroom, will complete a form for their class.  This form will tell me how many people have their Chromebooks, how many people have their Chromebooks charged and how many people took the Smarter Test.  At the end of Math testing on May 15th the numbers will be totaled and the TWO grades with the highest percentage of students prepared with charged Chromebooks and who take the test will be the winners.

Good luck and remember to bring your charged Chromebooks every day and do your very best come Smarter Balanced testing next week.
