School Counseling Program Vision Statement

The vision of the H.B. du Pont Middle School Counseling Program is for all students to depart with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the 21^st century – students will be empowered to lead, communicate, and collaborate in school and professional environments. The comprehensive school counseling program facilitates meaningful partnerships between the school, family and community. Students will be empowered to reach their fullest potential and develop into life-long learners who are respectful, responsible and strive to make a positive difference in their communities.

School Counseling Program Mission Statement

The mission of the H.B. du Pont School Counseling Program is to provide all students with comprehensive school counseling services that foster 21^st century skills. Programs will focus on removing barriers that prevent growth in academic, career and personal/social domains. In partnership with educators, parents/guardians, and community members, school counselors will help all students to be productive and responsible citizens.
