• Roberta Jacobs has been a dedicated educator for over 20 years. She taught for 11 years as an elementary teacher and, in 2006, she was named as the Colonial School District's Teacher of the Year.

    Over the past 10 years, she has led schools in the Appoquinimink School District and the Colonial School District, most recently as the assistant principal at New Castle Elementary School. Mrs. Jacobs brings her skills as an educational leader to the Red Clay Consolidated School District and to the Cooke Elementary School community, where she enjoys working with families as partners in the educational experience.

    Originally from New York, Mrs. Jacobs graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Instruction. She lives in New Castle with her husband, Matt, and their son, Jordan.
