“Mote Marvelous May” was a huge success!! Thank you to Mr. Scott and the Diversity Team for all your planning and implementation. Thank you Mrs. Wilson for the book fair. Thank you to all the staff who showed their support by setting up, participating, and cleaning up! It was so nice to see all of our families in attendance.
We have partnered with the University of Delaware to bring a 6-week cooking class, where families and their children will have the opportunity to learn how to cook healthy recipes!
The demonstration will take place in the Mote cafeteria and faculty lounge. If you are interested in attending, please sign-up using the link that is attached or return the form that was sent home with your child. Thank you and we hope you see you there!

Mote celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a Fiesta. Hispanic Heritage month is held from September 15th through October 15th to honor accomplishments, contributions, and the culture of Hispanic People.
On Monday, October 17th Mote celebrated all they had learned throughout the month with a Fiesta. Students attended an assembly with a Latin ballroom dancer and a Mariachi band where they were able to watch as well as participate in Latin dances and songs. Later in the afternoon, everyone moved outside to participate or cheer on the Staff vs Student Soccer Game! Finally, the day concluded with Churros and a slideshow of all the students' Hispanic Heritage projects.
