Students may not possess any medications in school (rescue inhalers and epinephrine are the exception and must follow strict guidelines). All medications must be held and administered by the nurse. All medications and/or treatments must have the proper written permission completed in order to be administered by the nurse (see forms below).
Tylenol (acetaminophen), Advil/Motrin (ibuprofen) and Tums (antacid) can be administered to students by the nurse if parent permission is granted on the student data card. Permission is required each school year. NO other medications are available to be offered. This includes cold, cough, and allergy medication.
