A Message Regarding Summer Learning Opportunities from Red Clay
Dear Red Clay Families,
Thank you for your continued support during the school closure. As we plan for summer learning, we are committed to keeping students engaged through remote learning activities. With this in mind, we have developed several remote learning opportunities to support Red Clay students and families this summer.
Summer Learning Packets Available on June 30 (Kindergarten-Grade 8)
The Office of Curriculum & Instruction will develop summer learning packets to provide K-8 students and families with remote learning activities for the month of July.
Summer learning packets will be available online at covid19.redclayschools.com, and printed copies will be available for pick up at Red Clay meal sites and Brandywine Springs School on Tuesday, June 30, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Online Learning: Register Today (Kindergarten-Grade 11)
In addition to completing the summer learning packets mentioned above, we invite students to continue their remote learning using a number of online platforms this summer.
Please keep in mind that these online learning activities are optional. The activities will allow students to remain engaged with academic material, without the direct support of a teacher, from July 1-29. (Students may continue to access Reading Eggs, Dreambox, and Newsela through the Clever Application after July 29.)
