Convert Google Slides to SMART Notebook

Convert Google Slides to a SMART Notebook file and continue to use the interactivity:

  1. Open the Google Slides presentation.
  2. Click File, then Download. Download the file as a Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx) file.
  3. Save the PowerPoint file somewhere that you can locate it easily. 
  4. Open SMART Notebook to a blank file.
  5. Click File, then Import.
  6. Select the PowerPoint file that you just downloaded from Google Slides.
  7. On the pop-up window, select the second choice: "SMART Notebook pages with editable objects", then press OK.

  8. Some content on the slides may have shifted in the conversion. You may need to resize fonts to different sizes or move objects in order for them to fit better on the slide.
  9. Be sure to save your new SMART Notebook file.
