- Check out the SAT Pacing Guides based on the number of hours you have for instruction. The placement test will take two, 80 minute periods. The post test will take two, 80 minute periods. Use the pacing guides to determine what to teach while you have students and which lessons to skip.
- Skill Level Report - after the placement test, use the downloadable skill level report to determine which lessons will give you the biggest "return on instruction" and will impact the students' SAT scores the most.

- How do teachers use ChalkTalk?
- Step 1 - Introduce students to the program and ensure everyone has access
- Step 2 - Administer the placement (diagnostic) test in one or multiple sittings
- Step 3 - Analyze the skill level report to set class, group, and individual goals
- Step 4 - Choose and teach lessons based on skill data, the scope, and sequence or the calendar tool
- Step 5 - Administer a second diagnostic based on the calendar tool to analyze growth
Things to Remember:
- Students and teachers may need to clear their cache in order to view the lessons. Click here for instructions on how to clear your cache.
- Be sure to take attendance within the ChalkTalk system. By doing this, teachers can keep track of how often students engage in the lessons. Click here for more information.

- ChalkTalk Study Hall - The Study Hall tab will allow the students to access interactive self-paced lessons with embedded videos and quizzes. Every one to two minutes the video pauses to present students with a quiz; based on their answer, the video branches off to a different relevant snippet.
